Spring Wish List

As you all know spring is sloooowly approaching (FINALY!!)
So hear is a few things I would like loooove to get my hands on this spring :)

 Last year I wanted a romper so bad but I was pregnant. I really want to find a white or biege one this year!!

             Pretty pink lipsticks and nail polish like Mac's Pretty Please and Revlons Peach Smoothie.

 I reeeeeally want an Betsey Johnson Anchor necklace! I have a cute striped shirt that would look perfect together!

                      I've always thought floppy hats were so cute and now they are finaly fashionable!

                                          This floral purse from Aldo is so adorible and only $45!!

                                               A One Shoulder Maxi Dress. Preferably in this color.

                And last but definetely not least short suspenders! (also a pair of jean suspenders!)
Well that's my MOST wanted spring list (the full list is SO much longer lol) What types of things are you all wanting this spring?? Are you liking all the floral or OD-ing on it lol??

NOTD:You Don't Know Jacques& Hello Kitty cookies

Hello lovely ladies,

I wanted to wear a nail polish that would go with any outfit so I chose this nice purple! This color was so popular in the fall but it's still one of my favourties and I probably wear it the most out of all my nail polish! It's just so easy to match with any outfit that I find myself grabbing for it all the time especially when I know I'm going to have a busy week and won't have time to be changing my nail color.

This polish is easy to apply and not too streaky if you take your time. You do need about three coats because it is a little thin. But all in all its a great polish that I would recomend to anyone!

Today I tried to be a good little housewife and I baked some cookies. I only had Christmas cookie cutters so I improvised and attempted to make some hello kitty and bow cookies! Well as you can see they turned out........funny looking lol! But I think I did an okay job...you can even ALMOST tell what they are tee-hee!

Silver&Gold Review

Hey Ladies! How was everyones weekend? Sorry I haven't blogged in a few days I've been busy with my family. Since I've stopped workingit seems like the days have been flying by! I thought this year would go by so slow but it's the complete opposite! Guess that happens as you get older??

Anyways...Shoppers was having A sale a few weeks ago on Nicole by OPI polishes for $6. I've been looking for a good silver and gold polish for so long so when I spotted these two I knew I had to have them! They were so pretty and sparkly in the bottle! The gold is called "The Next CEO" and the silver is "Give Me the 1st Dance"(by Justin Bieber LOL) You definetely need to see these two in real life because the pics just do not do it justice!

I've never tried Nicole by OPI before but I think I like it better then the regular OPI line! The texture seems a little thicker so it's not at all streaky! And since it's thicker One thick coat is all you need! This polish is everything a polish should be...it goes on easily, it's not hard to remove and does leave yucky glitter everywhere and it goes on your nails exactly how it looks in the bottle without having to do ten coats! Love it!

 

"The Next CEO"

I've been searching for a good gold for so long and am very impressed with this one! I've tried a few golds before and you always have to do so many coats! This one you can get away with doing one but I think it looks perfect with two!These polishes also have the new "perfect stroke brush" which I personaly think every nail polish should have. It's shaped more like your nail so you don't have all the cleanup after(well not as much)

Overall I can not wait to try more shades of the Nicole line! There's a few shades I already have my eye on!

Shopping Fail

Hello Ladies!
Today me and Ava headed downtown to do some shopping with my mom and my sister. I was excited because there was so much pretty stuff online that I wanted that I was hoping to be in-store. Don't you just hate how when you have money you can't find anything nice and when your broke you want everything? I had a few gift cards that I had to use up so I had to settle for stuff that I didn't particularly LOVE. Which I hate because it more then likely means it will sit in my closet for a few years before I throw it away. Blah! I did however find these cute little items so the day wasn't a complete fail !

These darling spring colored bangles from H&M! I love them so much they are the perfect colors! These are going to be on my arm all summer!

Hope everyone had a fantastic week. Mine was quiet uneventful. Just taking care of Ava and picking out classes for spring semester. Anyways, I thought I would post a Outfit of the Day. Hope you like it :)

1st Nail of the Day Maybelline Express Finish

Yay!! This will be my first Nail of the day :) So exciting lol!! Anyways on to the nails........ I wanted to wear something bright and springy and this color certainly is bright!! I`ve been really cheap lately and have been trying to buy nail products other than OPI so I tried this maybelline Express Finish that promises to dry in 50 seconds!!

This color is called Sunset Prisms and I found it in the drugstore for about $6. I wasn`t all that impressed with the color.... in the bottle it looked pinky orange and on my nails it was more orange red. It also only dried fast on the first coat (& only a thin first coat at that) Overall I didn`t love this polish.

What is everyone else`s favourite ``cheap`` nail polish brands? I`d love some suggestions on good ones to buy :)

Spa night :)

Hey everyone! Its Friday night & I'm staying in tonight with my beautiful little girl Ava<3 I decided to go to the drugstore and pick up some stuff to do a little "at home spa" type of thing!!

I grabbed myself A facial peel off mask (LOVE peel masks!!) by Freeman in Cucumber. I've used it before and already know I love this scent. I have extremely sensitive skin and this peel is surprisengly fine on my skin considering it only costs $3! My skin felt so nice and soft after. Definetely a great product for $3 :) I think next time I will try Grapefruit!!

I also picked up a foot scrub and a foot soak which are also by freeman. The foot scrub is a self warming foot scrub in Peppermint and Plum. I can't say I liked this at all. It did not warm at all and it felt rougher then most foot scrubs. Anyways, the foot soak was a little better. I got the Peppermint and Plum in this also. It was easy to go on and off but I can't say my feet felt all that much better after these treatements.
Oh well we had fun anyways :)

Dry Hands??

It's that time of year right now where the weather is crap and my skin is crazy dry. I don't know about you but I absolutely hate the feeling of dry skin and my hands always seem to get it the worst! I always have hand lotion on hand because I'm a bit of a junkie lol! Well I got a free sample of this mary kay hand cream a few weeks ago called "Satin Hands" I must say its probably the best hand cream I've ever used. You immediately feel your hands smooth out! It doesn't have a heavy perfume eather. It goes on smooth...not runny or gunky.
I would definetly recomend it for any girls purse :)

My Heart Aches

Today all I can say is my heart goes to all those affected by the terrible situation going on in Japan right now. It's all I have been able to think about all day.... I can not even imagine what everyone is going through. It really makes everything come into persprective when something like this happens. Cherish every moment you get with your loved ones because you don't know what the future holds.....

Nail Stickers...Simple but PRETTY

Tonight I decided to try out my
cute blue OPI nail polish ``Suzi
Says Feng Shui`` I got it for a
present from a girl at work and
was really excited for this little surprise!
This polish was pretty easy to apply, it only needed two coats but you can see the brush stroaks.

I was feeling enthousiastic so I decided to throw some nail stickers on. I chose these cute little black and white flowers that I picked up from the night market. Simple but cute!

My first Blog :)

Hey everyone :) This will be my first blog and since I am quiet new at this you will all have to bear with me about the appearance of my blog (boring I know) I've been wanting to start a blog for some time now but I couldn't decide if I was going to start one for a specific topic or.....just through out what I feel like talking about on that particular day!! And I have come to the conclution that I am going to through everything out at you as I feel neccasary :) I love love love makeup and nail art and have seen so many great blogs recently that are all focused on that one subject but I have so many things I'm interested in I just could not choose one thing to talk about so.....

Yesterday when I was indulging myself in some online shopping I got sucked into one of thos little advertisments in the corner of the screen (silly I know) You see.. I just recently became a mother (a little over a month ago) and have been interested in trying to work from home. Doing what? I have no clue..... So when I saw the advertisement for stay at home moms wanting a great career I eagerly signed myself up for some more info. Well lets just say I wasted a few hours of what spare time I do have being "convinced" that I could make millions selling there product if I only gave a down payment of $300. $300?! For real?? They are hitting up stay at home moms for $300!! I couldn't help but laugh at how I actually bought into for a moment!! Until next time...
