Maple Vox Box

Hello Lovelies ❤❤

I can not believe Christmas has come and gone already. I hope you all had a wonderful holiday and got to spend time with your loved ones. Me and my family had a lovely time other then a terrible flu that seems to be going around. We all got our turn and unfortunately Grant was the one to get it on Christmas! Poor guy!

Today I am sharing my very first Vox Box! I believe this is the first Canadian Vox Box which is very exciting. I was very surprised to receive this box because I had received an email saying that they already filled their quota for boxes, but a week later a box was on my doorstep. Yay!!

The first two items I received were Skinny Cow Milk Chocolate Dreamy Clusters
& Skinny Cow Milk Chocolate Heavenly Crisp
My thoughts: These were very delicious. Yes they taste different then a regular chocolate but you are still satisfied (and that is the point is it not?) The Clusters reminded me of Turtles with the nuts and caramel. While the Heavenly Crisp had a taste of its own. I prefer the Crispy bar to the clusters but that is just my preference.
Montagne Jeunesse  Red Earth Clay Spa in Pulped Pomegranate.
NYC Big Bold Curl Mascara (Black)
Impress press on nails
IceBreakers Duo (Raspberry)
My Thoughts:
These mints are sweet Raspberry flavored with a hint of mint to it. They have a different shape then other IceBreaker mints I have tried. They have bumpy ridges on one side and smooth on the other. I am not a fan of this particular flavour but they are good enough to keep in my purse for when I need a mint.
NYC Big Bold Plumping Lipgloss in Big City Blush
The package came with this card that explained everything in the box and provided prices for everything, which I think is very useful if you end up loving a product. I also received two coupons for 1 dollar off of NYC Mascara or lipgloss which is awesome because their products are already very affordable. Overall I am very happy and grateful for this box! It is so generous of them to send out these products for people to test out! Can not wait to do some reviews for these products as well!
For those of you who do not know what VoxBox or Influenster is it is a site that is free to join. You can link any social media sites that you are on (Facebook, Twitter, Google, etc.) and do reviews on products. You can do reviews and quizzes and other activities which unlock different levels and get you one step closer to getting a free box like this! If you would like to sign up just go to!
Have you tried any of these products? What was your favorite?

China Glaze Trendsetter

Hey Beauties ❤❤
Hope you all had a fantastic weekend and got to enjoy some Christmas festivities! Now that it is December every spare moment is going to be spent doing all the fun and not so fun stuff that comes along with Christmas. Tis' the season right?

So today I wanted to share this lovely gem I managed to scoop up at a flea market! Now usually I would not buy nail polish from a flea market because I have gotten knock offs before. But I feel like I kind of know how to tell if it is fake or not so I decided to go for it and picked up a couple colors of China Glaze. Trendsetter was the first color I chose because it stood out to me so much. It is what one would call a ugly pretty color (if that makes sense lol!) As my boyfriend calls it "baby puke".

What I absolutely love about this polish is the gorgeous shimmer. That is definitely what ties in the pretty to the ugly. I absolutely adore this polish. The formula is a breeze to work with. It dries in amazing time with no streaking or bubbling. Just perfection in a bottle!!
