Essence Color and Go Nail Polish

I hope you all are having a fantatsic Friday night :) This afternoon while I was going to "get milk" I browsed the cosmetics section of the drug store and came accross a new cosmetic line called Essence. I've seen lots of blogs using there polish and have never seen them in any store. They only had a small display and it had very slim pickings so I picked up two polishes that only cost $1.49 each!! They are a little small but bigger then OPI mini's so it is not too bad and for under two dollars who really cares? I checked out there website as well and there is lots of products I am dying to try so I hope my drugstore stocks up soon!!

              Essence Modern Romance (nude color), Essence You Belong to Me (Turquoise)
I used Moder Romance as a base color and I think that is what I am going to mainly use it for. It is very light (almost clear with a bit of glimmer) and I think it would take atleast four coats to get the color pay off that is in the bottle. I tried to do turquoise tips using scotch tape because I have run out of the little sticker things for tips. I definetly need to get more of those ASAP because it lifted the paint a lot!! Anywho as far as I can tell these polishes are decent and I would definetley be buying more and hopefully other products as well!! I also used Nailene Acrylic Strong topcoat to make it shiny and beautiful :)

Window Shopping

Hello Lovies ❤❤
I can't believe it is Wednesday already!! The week is going by so fast!! A few weeks ago I had an hour to burn inbetween appointments so I poped into the mall for some "window shopping". Obviously I am not the best at window shopping and I always seem to come up with any excuse to buy something. My worst habbbit is buying stuff for "presents" (for god knows who? Just incase presents maybe!!) and stashing them in my closet to give to people whenever a holiday or birthday comes up. I always resort to this excuse to buy things that are cute but that I have no use for at the moment!!

Paris Amour, Pink chiffon, & Be enchanted

I hit up Bath & Body Works and they were having one of their usual sales buy three get three free. Me and my friend both love all their lotions so we went halfers and got three each. I always keep one of these handy in my purse because I always get dry hands!! I'm currently using Secret Wonderland which I recieved for Christmas but when I'm finished I think I am going to use Be Enchanted. Do you have a favourite B&BW's lotion?

I purchased this Wet-n-Wild Mega Protein mascara in a spur of the moment. I have noticed how short and thin my eyelashes have been lately and I know that mascara has a lot to do with that. I haven't seen any other drugstore brands have a mascara like this so I thought I would give it a try. I have to say I am really dissapointed in this mascara. Not only do my eyes not look any healthier but it does not give good length or volume at all. I was not expecting a lot because it was only $3 at wal-mart but I think I would have just been better off not wearing mascara at all. I did see an eyelash repair serium there by Wet-n-Wild that I was interested in but after using this I'm not too sure if I will be purchasing. Overall, I would not recommend this product to anyone.

I was reading one of my favourite blogs Kissanmakeup and saw this fun "get to know me" tag that Jacenda did. I haven't done one of these for so long so I thought it would be a fun post to do :) Anyone who is reading should do one as well! They are always very fun!!

QUESTIONS-

1. What is your favourtie foundation?
I wouldn't say I have a favourtie. I like Maybelline Mineral Effects foundation but I have very sensitive skin and have never found something that is a perfect fit for my skin.

2.If you had to pick 2 things to do or see before you die, What would they be?
I really want to become a foster parent when my daughter is a little bit older and I would love to travel to England.

3. What is your favourtie perfume?
Euphoria by Calvin Klein

4. If you had to eat the same thing for a month, what would it be?
That is so hard! I get sick of things so fast! I would have to say Cabbage soup. It is sooo good :)

5. What are your top 3 lipsticks?
 I like pink and nudes best so my top 3 would have to be: Gosh Cappuchino, ELF Runway Pink, and ELF Pouty Petal (I like cheap makeup can you tell?!)

6. You have the chance to meet and shop any clothing designers line, who would it be?
Betsey Johnson. I love her dresses and purses! (not to mention all her cute jewlery line!)

7. What are 3 beauty products you can not wait to try?
-I just ordered a heating lamp for gel nails and can not wait to try it out as soon as it arrives!

-Yves Saint Laurent's Glossy Balms!!

8. Do You prefer bright and colorful or soft and natural eye shadows?
I love expiremting with bright colors but I have olive skin and it can start to look cheap very fast!!

9. Do you have a favourite LUSH product?
I've never bought anything from LUSH. I have VERY sensitive skin so I tend to stick to what I know because I'm scared of bad reactions. But I recently heard about H'suan Wen Hua Hair treatment and am really interested in trying it!

10. What is your favourtie candy?
I prefer salty things like chips and popcorn over candy!

11. When you are shopping what is the first thing you go for?
I always look at clothes, then purses, then shoes! I usually go on special trips that are just for beauty products because I usually have a list of things I want to get before I even enter the store!

Spring Finds

Hey Lovey's,

How is everyone's beautiful weekend going? Good I hope! I had to do an exam this afternoon (lame!) and by the time I was done there was no sun left to go lounge outside in. So I decided to go to good old Wal-Mart to see what odds and ends I could find. I always go into Wal-Mart needing one thing and leave with a kart full!! But I contained myself and got a few little goodies!

Confessions of a Shopaholic

Hey dollies,
How have you all been?? I miss you all!! Long time no post hey?! I have been beyond slacking in writing posts but I have been reading all of your blogs! I have been looking for some new blogs to read too that are more about everything cute and fun in life not just reviews on products. I do love product reviews but it can get a bit repetitive. If anyone knows any great girly blogs let me know!! :)

My post today is about my favourite author Sophie Kinsella and her series Confessions of a Shopaholic. Obviously I love everything in my life to be girly and that includes what I read. I've been a student for a very long time so when I do have time off to read I want to give my mind a break and read something fun, refreshing and mindless. All of Sophie Kinsella's books are exactly this! I am sure most of you have seen the movie but I'mn not sure if many people have read the books. I am currently reading Mini Shopaholic which is the last novel in the Shopaholic series. I would recomend anyone who wants a fun read to read any of the books in the series. I absolutely love Rebecca Bloomwood and can relate to so many of her shopping mis-adventures!

On Sophie Kinsella's website they also had "Tie In" books of the first book and the second book and then there was one that was the two combined (which is basically the movie minus a lot of important stuff!) I have not read any of these movie books and I do not wish to. I read the books before the movie came out and like most people who read books before you see the movie it was very unaccurate. I know there is not enough time in two hours to put every detail in but they made a lot of changes which I think really changed the story. I don't understand why they had to stuff two books into one movie either. They could have made a whole series and made it  more accurate!

Sophie Kinsella also has a large number of other books as well as another series. I have not read her other series but I have read a few of her other independent novels. My favourites would have to be Twenties Girl and The Undomestic Goddess. They both have great characters that you fall in love with. I honestly did not know about the other series until I checked out the website so they are definetly going on my wishlist!

OOTD & current goals

Hey girly's <3
Okay I`m going to be honest this is not an OOTD this is more like an outfit of last Tuesday!! I started writing this last Tuesday and probably have popped on two more times since then to try and write it. It`s not that its a long or detailed post I am just crazy freaking busy with school. Like I am freaking out!!! Why did I take so many classes?? Every moment that I am not studying I get all anxious because I know I have a huge pile of studying left!!! Bahhh I can not wait til this semester is over!! Oh wait....yes yes I can because next semester I need to juggle this amount of classes plus go back to work!!! But I`m not going to think about that until I have to cause man oh man I think I may have a break down lol!! Anywho... I did a goals list at the end of June and I'd say that most of it probably didn't get finished. Blame it on summer?? :) Since it's the begining of the school year I thought I should probably do another to help me stay on track!! sooooo.........

♥ Don't fall behind in classes. Once I fall behind in one it's like a dominos effect!! Not good!! This last year of university is so important I need to stay FOCUSED!!
♥Be more organized!! I am SO bad for being all scattered!! It annoys me so much yet I know if I put in a little more effort I could be more organized!!
♥ONLY but Chritsmas presents!! I am on a shopping ban for anything that is not  present for someone else!! I always go all out and this is my first year not working so I need to make my money strecth!!
♥breath!! I always get so caught up in silly things. I need to remeber that I need to accept that I can not control everything!! Some things are just out of our control and there is no point in stressing out about it because it`s not going to solve anything!!! (this is a hard one!! I get the worst panick attacks about stupid stuff!!)
