Orly Red Carpet

Hey Dolls ❤❤
Can you believe this is my very first Orly Nail Polish? For some reason I have always kind of skipped over them when shopping in Sally Beauty Supply. I recently have seen them showing up at Marshall 's so I thought I would give them a try. I chose this color and one other that I will share swatches of when I get around to wearing it!

                                                                  Orly Red Carpet

Orly Red Carpet is a nice Tomato red jam packed with iridescent micro glitters.
The formula is very unique. Not quiet cream not full on jelly. I would not say it is a crelly though. I guess it is in a category of its own! Because of the formula if you have longer nails and say you get something under your nail, you are going to be able to see it through your nail. So I would recommend using a nude colored polish as a base coat. You also have to be very careful when removing because this stains your fingers like CRAZY!! But that is pretty typical of red nail polish. Overall I was very impressed with Orly and can not wait to try more!

What Orly Colors do you recommend?

Equate Nail Polish Remover Pads

Hey Loves ❤❤
I have always been curious about nail polish remover pads and when I was travelling this summer I thought it was a perfect excuse to try some out. I must say I did have a lot of expectations from these pads. Since they were literally soaking in remover and were a thicker pad I thought they would make removing nail polish a breeze. Not so much luck.....
Price: $2 per 10 packs Available at Wal Mart
                                                                     Rating: 2/5

I have heard that some people prefer to use remover pads for glitter or hard to get off polishes because they are so much more effective then normal remover. This promises that the pad is extra thick which it is. It also promises that one pad removes all ten nails. Not so much.....more like two nails if you are lucky (and that is even on the easiest cream polish) You have to really really work to bring the easiest nail polish off. This is honestly the most in-convenient way to take off nail polish. I am thinking that it may be because it is acetone free but I have used Equate acetone free remover before and it worked better then these pads. Needless to say I will be sticking to the traditional removal process from now on!

Current Favorites

Hey Dolls ❤❤
I have been on a quest to try and use up some of my products before I buy more. So far its been.....not very successful. What can I say you never really realize how much product really comes in most things. I have finished up a few things though so maybe in a month or two I will be able to do an empties post! (Fingers crossed!)

While looking through my drawers I came across all of these products and fell in love with them all over again!

This Wet-n-Wild Eyeshadow in ENVY is a lovely pearlescent forest green. I bought it last year and was not fond of it with my skin tone. When I tried it out again with different primer and highlight color I absolutely loved it!!
Freeze It Mega Freeze Hair Spray
I received some hot curlers for my birthday and have been in desperate need of a good hairspray. I have very thin hair that can not hold a curl to save my life. This has been the most successful in holding a curl for any amount of time. I am still on the hunt for something better but as far as drugstore hairspray this is the best I have used!

This Foundation was a holy grail of mine a couple years ago. I still had a couple in my vanity from when I bought a stock pile of them from the dollar store (Yes I buy foundation at the dollar store!) I completely forgot how much I love this for my skin type. It is definitely not for people with oily skin because this is very oily. But for someone with extreme dry skin it is perfect! Too bad it is discontinued :(
I have been obsessed with facial scrubs lately. I have been using a couple different kinds but the brand Keyano A Romantics is my favorite. I have a mango and a coconut lime salt scrub and they make my skin SO soft. They don't have a lot of gel in them that come in most scrubs but instead are mainly salt.
This is the Nail Strengthener I am using at the moment. As soon as I switched from my Essie Grow Stronger to this I noticed a lot of growth in my nails right away! I like the Sally Hansen Diamond Strength formula better because it is not as thick. But I found this for $2 so I can make it work!
I have put this in my favorites before and it continues to be one of my favorite lip balms. It is very similar to Baby Lips but with a bit more of a red tint to it. I love it and it smells delicious!
When I first tried Essence I Heart Stage Eyeshadow Primer I was very put of by how pigmented it was compared to other primers I have used. I find if I give it more time to dry it works just as good as other primers.

The Balm Hot Mamma has quickly became one of my favorite blushes. I wasn't sure how much I would like the shimmer in this on my cheeks but it gives such a nice glow that is so gorgeous! I always get compliments when I wear this!

What are you loving right now?

Essie Trophy Wife

Hey Beauties❤❤
Today I wanted to share a new love of mine! I will be the first to admit that Essie has never been my favourite nail polish brand. I never really disliked it I just never got into them like everyone else. After all the great collections they did last fall I decided to check out some swatches from them from their core collection. I made a small list of colors and there was one color that stood out to me that I was literally running out to look for. It was Trophy Wife which I quickly learned was discontinued. Then I happened to come across a single bottle in a random place on the shelf and I just about died.

This color is absolutely gorgeous! A nice turquoise color that just seems to pop off of my nails, this is a must have for summer but definitely goes nicely into all seasons. I may be a little bit obsessed with this! The formula is amazing. It dries quick, does not streak, and is completely opaque with 2 coats! I can not say enough about this except if you come across this and you do not have it YOU NEED IT!! It is gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous!

What is your favourite Essie color?
