Revlon Lash Potion Review

Hello my loves
I hope you are all having a lovely day! I have been busy busy with the girls and trying to get the house under control since Austyns arrival! I have been loving having all this time to spend with them though!

So today I am going to be sharing my review of the Revlon Lash Potion Mascara.
I was sent this a while ago and started using it in January.

                                                              This has a standard wand.
I really love the colors of the packaging on this.
                                                                Before
                                                                            After

I have to say the more mascaras I try the more I realize I am picky about my mascaras!  I have only tried one mascara that I truly loved (but of coarse was not willing to spend the $ to buy it regularly!) I am hardly ever wowed by a mascara and this was no exception! This mascara gave me a tiny amount of extra length and hardly any volume. It has a nice thin consistency which I love! I am not too fussy about wands but I do like this one more then an angled or rubber end. This seems to wear well for a long time. It does not seem to dry or crumble which is always a plus! All in all it is an average mascara!

                                                                                5/10
                                                          Would I Re-purchase: Maybe...
Price: $8 @ drugstores but I found it for $3 on Amazon!                                                                             ❤❤

Style Spotlight: Flats Flats Flats

Hello Beauties ❤❤
Todays Style Spotlight is one of my favorite fashion items...flats! I am obsessed with flats and have quiet the collection. As a semi stay-at-home-mother I like to have shoes that are functional but still stylish (AKA I need to be able to run after a toddler at any given moment!) Flats are a must for me because I refuse to succumb to wearing mom shoes (aka runners with jeans?) I always have a wish list of flats and this season they have come out with TOO many that I would love to get my hands on!

So..

                                                                   Coach Dasia Flats
I love metallic and rose gold so I was immediately drawn to these terrific shoes! When I saw they came in baby blue I was torn. I don't know which color is better....what do you guys think?
                                                            Kate Spade Fanna Flat
No one does girly flats like Miss Kate Spade! These shoes are so delicate and elegant. When I see these flats I envision Blair Waldorf walking in Central Park.
                                                            Michael Kors Fulton Flat
I  love moccasin style shoes. I think these fun fuchsia Michael Kors are so much fun for the summer. They would look perfect paired with some white caspris!
                                                                Coach Nadia Moccasin
Even better then hot pink moccasins are some baby pink everyday moccasins. Can you tell I am on a major moccasin kick right now? If only I could buy them all!
                                                            Kate Spade Tock Flat
I have also been on a major gold kick. I went through a major gold faze when I was in my senior year of high school and I kind of miss it...is that weird? I love how these flats are a very soft gold that's not too in your face!

                                                                   Coach Wooster Flat

Last but not least are these lovelies! I love open back flats in the summer time. They pair perfectly with capri pants, shorts, and even dresses! I love the soft rose color with snack accents on these Coach Wooster Flats!

I wish I could buy each and every pair of these shoes! They will all definitely be going on my birthday list (not until July but a girl can dream right?!) Thanks all so much for reading :)

What shoes are you loving right now?

I on Beauty Makeup Brushes

Hey dollies ❤❤

Last Mothers day Grant surprised me by going to Marshalls and trying to pick out a bunch of girly gifts for me. It was so cute and I always love when he does stuff like that. One of the items I received was a brush set by I on Beauty.

This set includes 10 brushes and a roll up case to keep them in.

The first brush is the Angle shadow brush. This brush was not my favorite for eyeshadow. I believe this is what most companies would call an eyeliner brush not as much for actual eyeshadow. I just use it for under my eyebrow because it doesn't need to be super precise.

The Angle Blusher brush is very nice and soft. It is quiet large and this set does not include a smaller blush brush. I really love this for a soft blush. When I am using a dark or very bright color I would use something smaller so it was easier to apply.

The eyeliner brush is a fail for me... The bristles are too long and they just bend over when trying to make a straight line.

I quiet enjoyed the foundation brush. I am not too picky about foundation brushes however. This was easy to use and blended in my foundation beautifully!
I do not often contour but when I do this is great! It is very nicely cut and has held up very well. I have also used this for eye shadow on many occasions.
Just a standard eye brow comb and brush.
This came with a smudge and sponge brush which I do not usually use. But they are nice to have just in case.....
The powder brush is SO soft! I kind of like to use a stipple brush for my powder but this is nice when I want to switch things up...

Overall I really love these brushes. They are decent quality and they are very inexpensive. I believe they were about $20 at Marshalls. You can also find the $17 on Amazon !

                                                                                   10/10
                                                              Would I Repurchase? YES!
                                                                         Price: $17-$20 online or Marshalls

Sinful Colors Full Spectrum

Hello Lovelies ❤❤
Happy Monday!! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Today I wanted to share a nail color that came out in the Sinful Colors Christmas collection.

                                                              Full Spectrum

I basically picked this up because it is a nice light rose gold glitter (need I say more!) Anything rose gold I am all over!!  This has tons of tiny holographic micro glitters with some medium chunky rose gold glitters. You need about 3 coats to make it fully opaque, but in my opinion it would look way nicer over a white or pale pink polish. I would also recommend a topcoat because this glitter feels a little gritty. Other then that I absolutely love this glitter (and do I say that very often, nope!)

                                                                         7/10
                                                   Would I Re-purchase: Yes!
                                                            Price: 1.99 @ Target

Style Spotlight: Ariana Grande

Hey Beauties ❤❤
I have decided to start doing a new type of post where I will share something in Fashion that I am loving! Whether that be a certain person, trend, color, or piece I will feature something once a week that has caught my eye! For my first week I have chosen celebrity Ariana Grande.

After I heard The Way on the radio I have a new found respect for this girls voice! Not that I disliked her before but I only knew her as a girl on some show my little sister watches. But holy this girl can sing! And she has the cutest style ever! She always looks completely girly and put together.
Her style reminds me of Cher from Clueless (And is probably why I love it SO much!)
I am also obsessed with her signature half-up-half-down hairstyle.
Ariana is always feminine and classic.  Compared to other stars her age who always seem to be trying too hard to wow or shock us; Ariana is doing the complete opposite. Which is so refreshing for a change! I just can not get enough of style and look forward to her outfits in the future!

What celebrity style are you loving right now?

Revlon Auquamarine

Hey dolls ❤❤
Hope you are all having a lovely week. Today I wanted to share a Revlon Chroma Chameleon nail polish in Aquamarine. I have a couple different nail products that they sent me that I will be sharing in the next little while :)

Although I am not much of a blue nail polish girl this was pretty. These nail polishes are all Duo-Chrome. These particular color is a nice Aqua Blue. In the sunlight you can see some shades of purple in it. The formula on this is great, not streaky, and easy to apply. You can get it opaque with 2-3 coats and then build it up to how dark you want it (neat!) The only problem with this nail polish is the price point. These nail polishes are priced at $8 a bottle and for only 8.6ml that is pretty darn expensive!

                                                                               7/10
                                                                 Would I Re-Purchase: No
                                                                 Price: $8 at most drugstores

Bare Minerals The Happy Place Quad

Hey Lovelies ❤❤
I can not believe it is March already. I would probably believe it more if it wasn't snowing! I am so ready for some nice weather. I am itching to start a garden but it will not make it if spring does not come! Hurry up!! Enough of my rant though, I want to share this lovely palette I picked up from Sephora in the summer....
Bare Minerals The Happy Place Quad
I tend to gravitate towards pinks and purples on my eyes so it is no surprise that out of all the beautiful palettes by Bare Minerals I chose this one. I really love how there is two matte shades and two shimmer shadows in this palette.
Top Left to Right: Peace and Imagine
Bottom Left to Right: Exhale and Euphoria

These swatches are overtop of Elf eyeshadow primer.Peace would barely show in pictures no matter what I did but trust me it is there! Exhale and Euphoria are definitely more pigmented then Peace and Imagine but none of them have terrible pigmentation. I was a little bit disappointed by Imagine. It swatches beautifully but when it is on my eyes for a couple hours the pink fades and you are left with a golden sheen. Has anyone else had this problem or is it just me? Euphoria is absolutely gorgeous and SO pigmented! A little goes a long way so be gentle with your brush!

                                                                                    7.5/10
                                                           Would I re-purchase: Undecided.
Price: $38.00 Canadian on Sephora.com (Also available on Bare Minerals website)

Revlon Parfumerie African Tea Rose

Hello Lovely's ❤❤
How are you all doing? Good I hope. I can't believe we had more snow this weekend...I am over it! I need summer now please! Since I have been dreaming of summer I have been choosing summer nail polish colors to get me in the mood!

A few months Revlon sent me a Revlon Parfumerie nail polish through the Revlon Selects program. The color they sent me is African Tea Rose. At first glance this looks like a regular bright Barbie pink. When you take a closer look this has a gorgeous purple glow through it.
When I painted my nails I was happy to see that this subtle purple sheen transferred to your nails. It just adds this lovely glow to your nails!
The Parfumerie collection is all scented nail polishes that are supposed to smell like their names. I like the normal Revlon scented nail polish line so it is no surprise that I love this line as well. The formula on this is AMAZING! It dries very fast and even with absolutely no streaking. I wish all nail polishes had formulas like this. This smells very strong of roses just like the name says. The scent lasts about two days, it starts of very strong and slowly fades off. Definitely a must have!

                                                                              9/10
                                                              Would I purchase? Yes!
                                                      Price: $6-8 @ Wal-Mart or any drugstore

Disclaimer: This product was sent to me for review. All opinions are my own.

Have you tried any of the Revlon Parfumerie?
