Nicole By OPI Disco Dolls❤

Hey dollies❤❤
Hope you all are enjoying your Mondays (or not lets be honest!) I honestly can not complain about Mondays right now because I am on mat-leave so everyday is the weekend for me. But I truly feel for all you working lady's! This weekend we took it easy because the next couple of weekends will be busy. I just focused on trying to find the perfect Easter gifts for my girls....Ava is quiet easy because she wants everything but I am having a hard time deciding what to get Ausyn. There is only so much a 2 month old needs. If any of you have suggestions I would greatly appreciate it!!

Anyways today I wanted to share some pics of a really great Christmasy glitter (why I am posting this in April who knows!) It is from the Nicole by OPI Kardashian Christmas collection in 2012. I picked it up from the discount bin for only $2 which is a steal for Nicole by OPIs which normally run from $9-$10!

Disco Dolls is a yellow toned gold glitter with some fuschia, spearmint, and silver glitters mixed in. They are all medium sized glitters and take about 2 coats to reach full opacity. It has a slight grit to it when dry but you can easily add a top coat to give it a nice glossy look and feel.

I have never seen a glitter exactly like this one. I really think it is a must have for the festive season. If you can get your hands on it I would! The formula is really great for a glitter. Not at all goopy which often happens with glitters. It is a little bit of a task to get off but you wont often find a glitter that isn't.

Introducing Austyn Elizabeth ❤

Hi loves ❤❤
I haven't been doing posts about 'life' as often as I used to but I thought that introducing my new little one was a big enough reason! I am going to dedicate this entire post to Miss Austyn Elizabeth and share some photos of her :)

Miss Austyn made her arrival on February 11th (I can not believe she is almost 2 months old!) It definitely has been a transition bringing a new baby into our house, but I must say that  it was definitely a lot easier then having my first daughter! Which is funny because had warned me how much different it would be after two. I think I have grown so much patience by having Ava that having a 2nd child did not seem like a huge difference. I am sure that will all change when Austyn becomes more mobile and I am running after two! But for now I am really enjoying having both my girls and spending as much time with them before I have to go back to work!
                                                         Thanks for reading :)

ELF Ultimate Look Mauve Set Review & Swatches ❤

Good morning Lovelies ❤❤

I hope you all are having a lovely day! I love trying new makeup and was very excited to receive this ELF kit from my friend as a gift. I wanted to share some swatches and a review of all the products :)

I love mauve!
The set includes one pair of eyelashes, black eyeliner, Lengthening and Defining mascara, pencil sharpener, sponge applicator, and three eye shadows.
I quiet enjoy ELF lashes and for the price you can just not beet it!
One thing I don't like about this kit is how these eye shadows do not have any names on them. It's not a big issue but I am the type of person that likes to know the names of everything.
Above is the eye shadow shades without eye shadow primer.
Above is swatched with eye primer. I love these shades SO much!
They are a bit powdery and are not terribly pigmented but you can definitely build them up  to a nice shade! They do have fallout so you need to make sure to tap your brush!
As for the mascara, eyeliner, and eye shadow brush. Do not waste your money! These products are beyond terrible! The mascara was ridiculously thick and goopy. You could not even apply it to your lashes because it was too thick.

The eyeliner was hard to apply and did not last long enough finish applying mascara.
It shows up more of a grey then a black which is my pet peeve for black eyeliner!

And the eye shadow brush has the worst fallout I have ever seen in a brush! It would literally fall out in large chunks as you were applying it!

                                                                            4/10
                                                Would I Re-purchase? Not as a kit
                                                              Price: $7 for set $1 a piece

Revlon Lash Potion Review

Hello my loves
I hope you are all having a lovely day! I have been busy busy with the girls and trying to get the house under control since Austyns arrival! I have been loving having all this time to spend with them though!

So today I am going to be sharing my review of the Revlon Lash Potion Mascara.
I was sent this a while ago and started using it in January.

                                                              This has a standard wand.
I really love the colors of the packaging on this.
                                                                Before
                                                                            After

I have to say the more mascaras I try the more I realize I am picky about my mascaras!  I have only tried one mascara that I truly loved (but of coarse was not willing to spend the $ to buy it regularly!) I am hardly ever wowed by a mascara and this was no exception! This mascara gave me a tiny amount of extra length and hardly any volume. It has a nice thin consistency which I love! I am not too fussy about wands but I do like this one more then an angled or rubber end. This seems to wear well for a long time. It does not seem to dry or crumble which is always a plus! All in all it is an average mascara!

                                                                                5/10
                                                          Would I Re-purchase: Maybe...
Price: $8 @ drugstores but I found it for $3 on Amazon!                                                                             ❤❤

Style Spotlight: Flats Flats Flats

Hello Beauties ❤❤
Todays Style Spotlight is one of my favorite fashion items...flats! I am obsessed with flats and have quiet the collection. As a semi stay-at-home-mother I like to have shoes that are functional but still stylish (AKA I need to be able to run after a toddler at any given moment!) Flats are a must for me because I refuse to succumb to wearing mom shoes (aka runners with jeans?) I always have a wish list of flats and this season they have come out with TOO many that I would love to get my hands on!

So..

                                                                   Coach Dasia Flats
I love metallic and rose gold so I was immediately drawn to these terrific shoes! When I saw they came in baby blue I was torn. I don't know which color is better....what do you guys think?
                                                            Kate Spade Fanna Flat
No one does girly flats like Miss Kate Spade! These shoes are so delicate and elegant. When I see these flats I envision Blair Waldorf walking in Central Park.
                                                            Michael Kors Fulton Flat
I  love moccasin style shoes. I think these fun fuchsia Michael Kors are so much fun for the summer. They would look perfect paired with some white caspris!
                                                                Coach Nadia Moccasin
Even better then hot pink moccasins are some baby pink everyday moccasins. Can you tell I am on a major moccasin kick right now? If only I could buy them all!
                                                            Kate Spade Tock Flat
I have also been on a major gold kick. I went through a major gold faze when I was in my senior year of high school and I kind of miss it...is that weird? I love how these flats are a very soft gold that's not too in your face!

                                                                   Coach Wooster Flat

Last but not least are these lovelies! I love open back flats in the summer time. They pair perfectly with capri pants, shorts, and even dresses! I love the soft rose color with snack accents on these Coach Wooster Flats!

I wish I could buy each and every pair of these shoes! They will all definitely be going on my birthday list (not until July but a girl can dream right?!) Thanks all so much for reading :)

What shoes are you loving right now?

I on Beauty Makeup Brushes

Hey dollies ❤❤

Last Mothers day Grant surprised me by going to Marshalls and trying to pick out a bunch of girly gifts for me. It was so cute and I always love when he does stuff like that. One of the items I received was a brush set by I on Beauty.

This set includes 10 brushes and a roll up case to keep them in.

The first brush is the Angle shadow brush. This brush was not my favorite for eyeshadow. I believe this is what most companies would call an eyeliner brush not as much for actual eyeshadow. I just use it for under my eyebrow because it doesn't need to be super precise.

The Angle Blusher brush is very nice and soft. It is quiet large and this set does not include a smaller blush brush. I really love this for a soft blush. When I am using a dark or very bright color I would use something smaller so it was easier to apply.

The eyeliner brush is a fail for me... The bristles are too long and they just bend over when trying to make a straight line.

I quiet enjoyed the foundation brush. I am not too picky about foundation brushes however. This was easy to use and blended in my foundation beautifully!
I do not often contour but when I do this is great! It is very nicely cut and has held up very well. I have also used this for eye shadow on many occasions.
Just a standard eye brow comb and brush.
This came with a smudge and sponge brush which I do not usually use. But they are nice to have just in case.....
The powder brush is SO soft! I kind of like to use a stipple brush for my powder but this is nice when I want to switch things up...

Overall I really love these brushes. They are decent quality and they are very inexpensive. I believe they were about $20 at Marshalls. You can also find the $17 on Amazon !

                                                              Would I Repurchase? YES!
                                                                         Price: $17-$20 online or Marshalls

Sinful Colors Full Spectrum

Hello Lovelies ❤❤
Happy Monday!! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Today I wanted to share a nail color that came out in the Sinful Colors Christmas collection.

                                                              Full Spectrum

I basically picked this up because it is a nice light rose gold glitter (need I say more!) Anything rose gold I am all over!!  This has tons of tiny holographic micro glitters with some medium chunky rose gold glitters. You need about 3 coats to make it fully opaque, but in my opinion it would look way nicer over a white or pale pink polish. I would also recommend a topcoat because this glitter feels a little gritty. Other then that I absolutely love this glitter (and do I say that very often, nope!)

                                                                         7/10
                                                   Would I Re-purchase: Yes!
                                                            Price: 1.99 @ Target
