Hey Loves ❤❤
I have always been curious about nail polish remover pads and when I was travelling this summer I thought it was a perfect excuse to try some out. I must say I did have a lot of expectations from these pads. Since they were literally soaking in remover and were a thicker pad I thought they would make removing nail polish a breeze. Not so much luck.....
Price: $2 per 10 packs Available at Wal Mart
Rating: 2/5
I have heard that some people prefer to use remover pads for glitter or hard to get off polishes because they are so much more effective then normal remover. This promises that the pad is extra thick which it is. It also promises that one pad removes all ten nails. Not so much.....more like two nails if you are lucky (and that is even on the easiest cream polish) You have to really really work to bring the easiest nail polish off. This is honestly the most in-convenient way to take off nail polish. I am thinking that it may be because it is acetone free but I have used Equate acetone free remover before and it worked better then these pads. Needless to say I will be sticking to the traditional removal process from now on!

Current Favorites
Hey Dolls ❤❤
I have been on a quest to try and use up some of my products before I buy more. So far its been.....not very successful. What can I say you never really realize how much product really comes in most things. I have finished up a few things though so maybe in a month or two I will be able to do an empties post! (Fingers crossed!)
While looking through my drawers I came across all of these products and fell in love with them all over again!
This Wet-n-Wild Eyeshadow in ENVY is a lovely pearlescent forest green. I bought it last year and was not fond of it with my skin tone. When I tried it out again with different primer and highlight color I absolutely loved it!!
Freeze It Mega Freeze Hair Spray
I received some hot curlers for my birthday and have been in desperate need of a good hairspray. I have very thin hair that can not hold a curl to save my life. This has been the most successful in holding a curl for any amount of time. I am still on the hunt for something better but as far as drugstore hairspray this is the best I have used!
This Foundation was a holy grail of mine a couple years ago. I still had a couple in my vanity from when I bought a stock pile of them from the dollar store (Yes I buy foundation at the dollar store!) I completely forgot how much I love this for my skin type. It is definitely not for people with oily skin because this is very oily. But for someone with extreme dry skin it is perfect! Too bad it is discontinued :(
I have been obsessed with facial scrubs lately. I have been using a couple different kinds but the brand Keyano A Romantics is my favorite. I have a mango and a coconut lime salt scrub and they make my skin SO soft. They don't have a lot of gel in them that come in most scrubs but instead are mainly salt.
This is the Nail Strengthener I am using at the moment. As soon as I switched from my Essie Grow Stronger to this I noticed a lot of growth in my nails right away! I like the Sally Hansen Diamond Strength formula better because it is not as thick. But I found this for $2 so I can make it work!
I have put this in my favorites before and it continues to be one of my favorite lip balms. It is very similar to Baby Lips but with a bit more of a red tint to it. I love it and it smells delicious!
When I first tried Essence I Heart Stage Eyeshadow Primer I was very put of by how pigmented it was compared to other primers I have used. I find if I give it more time to dry it works just as good as other primers.
The Balm Hot Mamma has quickly became one of my favorite blushes. I wasn't sure how much I would like the shimmer in this on my cheeks but it gives such a nice glow that is so gorgeous! I always get compliments when I wear this!
What are you loving right now?

Essie Trophy Wife
Hey Beauties❤❤
Today I wanted to share a new love of mine! I will be the first to admit that Essie has never been my favourite nail polish brand. I never really disliked it I just never got into them like everyone else. After all the great collections they did last fall I decided to check out some swatches from them from their core collection. I made a small list of colors and there was one color that stood out to me that I was literally running out to look for. It was Trophy Wife which I quickly learned was discontinued. Then I happened to come across a single bottle in a random place on the shelf and I just about died.
This color is absolutely gorgeous! A nice turquoise color that just seems to pop off of my nails, this is a must have for summer but definitely goes nicely into all seasons. I may be a little bit obsessed with this! The formula is amazing. It dries quick, does not streak, and is completely opaque with 2 coats! I can not say enough about this except if you come across this and you do not have it YOU NEED IT!! It is gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous!
What is your favourite Essie color?

Book Review: Poor Little Bitch Girl
Hey dolls ❤❤
Today I wanted to discuss a book I recently read while I took a 10 hour road trip! I did not have to do any driving (because according to my boyfriend I am a crazy driver) so I got to read this the whole time.
Poor Little Bitch Girl
By: Jackie Collins
I bought this and a few other books about two years ago because I would read at night when my daughter would wake up in the middle of the night. When she began sleeping through the night this sat in my closet untouched until now.
This novel is based on a group of rich mid-twenty something's who all attended a prestigious school when they were younger. Now all living in separate cities each character shares their story on the recent murder of Gemma Castro. Each chapter is told by a separate character which gives a good variety of points of view. Annabelle Castro starts off as the main character and shares her experience as a neglected daughter of two Hollywood movie stars. To try and start a new life she lives in New York where her and her boyfriend run a high end call girl service. Bobby also lives in New York running a club with his best friend. Even though Annabelle's boyfriend is good friends with Bobby she has a growing crush on him that she hopes one day becomes a reality. Caroline is the only character that lives completely separate from the rest of the group, in Washington. Her story is very mysterious but when she gets kidnapped she brings her best friend to Washington to come and look for her. Denver starts off as a small character in the story but her role becomes greater throughout and by the end she is the main character. She struggles with a balance between love and work and she has a bit of a twist ending!
I was by no means expecting a serious and challenging novel when I picked this out. It was only meant to help keep me awake in the wee hours but when I read this it felt like it was written for an elementary school level. Every situation or thought was over explained numerous times to the point where it felt like the author was just trying to fill the pages. I thought that the story line was interesting but a little over exaggerated. It kept me intrigued enough to finish the book but I would not purchase a book by this author again. There was often times when I felt like it was my grandmother trying to be 'edgy' or 'in style' by using certain language or scenarios. I just did not feel like it was a realistic even to the rich and famous lives that some people have.
Have any of you read a book by Jackie Collins?
Were you impressed?

Essie: First Timer
Hey Dolls❤❤
Another Essie post for you! Even though I have other colors I could post I decided I would try and post all my new Essie's first!
When last years Essie Summer collection came out I contemplated about whether or not I was going to try mojito madness until it was too late to buy it. I loved the color but it was very out of my comfort zone and I had a feeling it would never be worn. When I saw there was a slightly less vibrant green in this years collection I thought I might as well get it so I don't regret it!
I must say I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed this color on nails. This bright green is an eye catcher without being obnoxious. The formula was a little on the thick side and did show streaks. However it was not at all difficult to apply. Definitely a must have!

Fall 2013 Wish List
Hello Beauties ❤❤
Every season I seem to have a huge wish list that I can not wait to share with everyone. Of course I have to narrow it down to the items that I think I need (okay not need, but ya know!) If I shared my entire list the post may never end! Fall is definitely my favourite season for fashion. I just love the colors, cozy clothes and comfortable boots!
First on my list is the newest Palette from Anastasia the Beverly Hills Lavish Set. This Set includes 10 eyeshadows,1 Eyeliner, Brow pencil, Tweezers and a Blending Brush. I love the colors and can not wait to head to Sephora to do some swatching!!
It just would not be fall without buying a new boyfriend crew from PINK!
I live in sweater dresses in the fall. I love the cheetah on the sleeves on this dress from Dynamite.
Michael Kors Delphine Logo Flat
Large Cocktail Ring by Guess
Starburst Button Earrings by Guess

Essie Madison Ave-Hue
Hello Lovelies ❤❤
I am back!! And I am thinking for good this time (who really knows for sure.) But my job has ended so I have a lot of free time on my hands as of now. So what better then to spend it blogging?! I have lots of exciting stuff to share and am very excited for upcoming posts!
I definitely think that Essie has stepped up their game this past year. Every collection they come out with I am drooling over all the colors! And they seem to be pumping out the collections every time I turn around, and lets be honest as a girl with a polish obsession I do not mind one bit! This polish definitely did not disappoint.
I am a sucker for creams that have very subtle shimmer in them so it is no surprise that I am head over heals for this polish! The formula was quiet easy to use. The color, a nice bright barbie fuchsia pink that has a lovely glossy finish. One thing I just love about Essie is the glossy finish they all have. This polish is for sure one that will happily stay in my collection until the very last drop!

Today I wanted to share the second polish I picked up from Essie's Madison Ave-hue collection. The polish that was named after the collection and the one I could not wait to get my hands on!
